RC-21US - Stearman PT13/17

Popular US trainer, designed in 1923, in which many WW2 pilots got their basic training. Used by booth US Army and US Navy until the end of WW2.

RC-27GB - AVRO 504 K

The mainstay of British trainers throughout WW1 and long there after. The aircraft was used by several countries world wide.

RC-24GB - Sopwith Triplane, Great Britain

British fighter developed in 1916 for supreme turning capability. Its active duty was shortlived but very successful.

RC-38US - Douglas World Cruiser, DWC

The 1924 round-the-world flight remains one of the truly great achievements in aviation. It was an incredibly arduous trek. The loss of two of the airplanes and the close call for Major Martin and Sgt. Harvey in the crash of the Seattle were hardly the only setbacks.

RC-25GB - de Haviland DH80a Puss Moth

A popular light aircraft during the Golden Era of Aviation. Used also for a number of record setting flights.
 

 

RC-22FR - Nieuport IV G, 1910

A pioneer aircraft designed by the Nieuport brothers. One surviving aircraft resides in the Swedish Airforce Museum. It is closely related to the similar aircraft in Musée de l’Air et Espace in Paris.
 

 

RC - Deperdussin Monocoque

In 1911 the Deperdussin Company in France built a trim, single-seat racing plane that heralded the sleek aerodynamic designs of later years. The plane's performance was equal to its appearance. It not only won the Gordon Bennett Trophy in 1912, but became the first plane to exceed 100 mph, in the process setting a new world speed record of 108 mph.
 

 

RC - Stagger Wing

In 1936, pilots L. Thaden and B. Noyes flew a Staggerwing to victory in the Bendix transcontinental competition. The airplane also served as a fast transport for the Allied Forces in World War II.
