Wright Flyer 1, 1903 |
This is a new introduction to the range, to be available Summer
2000 and, it must be said, is a very brave effort by K &W. It's a
big model, spanning 96.8" (2460mm) and will weigh about 13 lbs.,
so will require a .60 -.90 two stroke motor or .90.120 four stroke.

Focke Wulf FW44 |
First flown in 1932, the FW44 was designed as an aerobatic and
training aircraft. It has attractive, neat lines and makes a very nice
subject for scale modelling. The 1/5th scale model spans 72"
(1800mm) and weighs about 8 lbs. Four function R/C systems are
required and a .60-.75 cu. in two stroke motor or .80-.90 four stroke

undercarriage arrangement and nice detail on the expose cylinders of
the dummy radial motor.

Macchi M- 7 |
...and now for something COMPLETELY different! The Macchi M7 was
the winner of the 1920 Schneider Trophy race. It first flew in 1918
and, in addition to its Schneider Trophy success, was also used as a
fighter and coastal patrol aircraft. The model spans 79.6"
(1990mm) and is designed for .80-.90 cu.in two stroke motors, or
.90-.120 four stroke engines.

Phonix D-III Austria |
This late 1918 fighter of the Austro-Hungarian forces is one of
the lesser known aircraft of WW1 and was used for coastal defence in
the Adriatic area of southern Europe. The 9.51bs 1/5th scale model
spans 77.2" (1960mm) and suits .46-.60 two stroke motors or
.60-.80 four strokes. Available late summer this year.

Ryan NYP |
Charles Lindberg's epic New York -Paris non-stop aircraft,
modelled to a wing span of 112" (2800mm). The model will weigh in
at 13.5 lbs and will suit .60-.80 two strokes, or .90-.120 cu.m. four
stroke motors. Available late this year.
