Famous by the achievements of the company pilot Roland Garros, the Morane Saulnier H, designed in 1912, became very popular, especially after Garros' crossing the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea.
The aircraft incorporated wingwarping for lateral control and had balanced all flying elevator and balanced rudder but without fin. An original aircraft (landversion) is on display at Musée de l'Air in Paris and a number of airworthy replicas exist in France and elsewhere.
By all accounts it was not a difficult machine to fly, it was modestly aerobatic and had a top speed of around 80 m.p.h. Wing warping was used in preference to ailerons and the airframe construction was light and economicaily designed. |

The airplane is packed in a strong 3-ply, custom made carton. The individual parts are packed in sealed plastic bags and then wrapped in bubble plastic to ensure safe transport. |
